The vitamin A and the zinc, and both are present at levels that permit the claim. Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. One capsule provides 400µg of vitamin A (50% NRV) and 9mg of zinc (90% NRV). The lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and bilberry are declared by name and amount only - none of them carries an authorised claim in Great Britain, so the vision claims on this product come via vitamin A and zinc and we say so plainly.

How do I take it, and how long does one pot last?

A serving is 1 capsule a day. The pot holds 120 capsules, so that is 120 servings - four months at one serving a day. Fuller directions are being added to this page; in the meantime, the general advice for any capsule is to take the serving with a glass of water, with or without food, at a time of day you will remember. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.

What else does the formula provide?
